January 2025 Meeting

Join us on our new meeting date and time - Sunday, January 12!

Refreshments and social time begin at 2:00, followed by the meeting and presentation at 2:30. We meet downstairs at the McDowell Arts Center, located at 125 East McDowell Street in Matthews.

Our guest artist for the afternoon will be award-winner Linda Harris, who will share with us her fascinating process of assemblage art.  Assemblage art is the form of taking new, old, vintage, or found objects and gathering them into an art form that may or may not tell a story. Often the pieces speak to the viewer in some way,  usually nostalgically,  taking them back to another time,  place or memory.

Join us for a fun afternoon of conversation and learning! Our meetings are free and open to the public.
